What we paint

  • Living rooms and bedrooms
  • Hallways and stairwells
  • Basements
  • Trim and baseboards
  • Whole-house repaints
  • One room at a time

Prep comes first

  1. 1Move or cover furniture and protect the floors
  2. 2Mask trim, windows and fixtures
  3. 3Fill holes and cracks so the wall reads smooth
  4. 4Sand rough spots before any paint goes on

Prep is where the finish comes from

Most of what you see on a painted wall was decided before the first coat. Marks, holes and rough spots show through if they are skipped. So we prep properly from start to end, and we cover and mask everything that is not getting paint. Floors, furniture, windows and fixtures stay clean. It is the part of the job you do not see, and it is the reason the finish looks right when we are done.

Sharp lines where colours meet

Clean lines are the details people notice. Where wall meets ceiling, where wall meets trim, where one colour stops and the next begins, the edge should be straight and crisp. We take our time on those edges. It is what we mean when we say the difference is always in the details. If you can look at a room and the lines look easy, that is the work done right.

One room or the whole house

Some people call us for a single bedroom. Others want every room repainted. Either is fine. Tell us what you have in mind, send a photo of the space, and we will tell you what the job involves. Calgary homes dry out fast in winter, so walls often show hairline cracks and nail pops. Mention anything you can see in your photo and we will look at it with you before we give you the estimate.

Interior Painting: questions

How much does interior painting cost in Calgary?

It depends on how many rooms, the size of each room, the height of the ceilings, the condition of the walls and how much trim is involved. Send a photo of the space or call us, and we will give you a free estimate.

Do I need to move my furniture?

Not all of it. We cover and mask everything that is not getting paint. If a room is full, we will tell you what is easiest to move before the day.

Can you paint just one room?

Yes. One room, a few rooms or the whole house. Send a photo and tell us what you want painted.

Do you paint trim and baseboards too?

Yes. Trim detailing is part of interior work, and the lines where trim meets the wall are where we are most careful.

Can I live in the house while it is being painted?

Usually, yes. We can talk through the job and which rooms are being worked on so you know what to expect. Call us or send a photo and ask.
