How a job goes

From tape to the last coat, the way we work.

A house entry with windows and door masked in paper, ladders set up for spraying

Start

Prep first

Windows, doors and eaves papered and taped before any paint goes on.

Exterior, masked for spraying

Fresh white siding meeting dark grey board-and-batten, eaves still papered

Then

Clean lines

Where one colour meets the next, the line stays sharp.

Siding, first coat on

Cedar deck step with stain going on, before it has evened out

Then

Stain that soaks in

Cedar drinks stain unevenly at first, then evens out as the coats go on.

Cedar deck, stain going on

A cedar deck freshly stained a deep amber, with a spiral stair and a lawn beyond

Finish

Done right

Finished, cleaned up, and ready to use.

Cedar deck, stained

Because the difference is always in the details.

Questions people ask

Are your estimates really free?

Yes. Call (403) 973-7929 or send a photo, and we will give you a free estimate. There is no charge to find out what a job involves.

Can I get an estimate from a photo?

Yes. A clear photo of the room, the wall, the siding or the deck is usually enough for us to start. If we need more, we will ask by phone or email.

What happens after I send a photo?

We reply with any questions about the job, then give you a free estimate. Once you are happy, we book a date. On the day it is prep first, then paint, then clean up.

Where do you work?

Across the whole of Calgary, and the surrounding area. If you are outside the city, call us or send a photo with your location and we will tell you.

Do you paint homes and commercial spaces?

Both. We paint residential and commercial jobs: interiors, exteriors, feature walls, ceilings, decks and railings, doors and garage doors.

Do you paint kitchen cabinets?

No. We do not paint kitchen cabinets. If you have something else paint-related in mind, ask us and we will tell you plainly whether we can do it.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes, we accept credit cards.

Do I need to be home while you paint?

We will work that out with you when we book the job. Talk to us about access and timing, and we will make a plan that suits you.

How do you protect my floors and furniture?

We cover and mask everything that is not getting paint. On exteriors, windows, doors and eaves are papered and taped before any paint goes on.

How do I choose a colour?

Look at it in your own room at different times of day, because light changes a colour a lot. Try a small patch on the wall and live with it for a day or two. Send us a photo and we will talk it through with you.

Bad paint gets noticed. Great paint gets remembered.
