Chestermere is built around its lake, and a lot of the housing is shaped by it: homes with decks and patios made for summer, large windows, and open living spaces. Decks and railings take the most use and the most weather, so a good, well-prepped stain job matters here. Inside, bright open rooms show colour and cut lines clearly, which makes careful masking and a clean finish worth the effort. The town also has plenty of newer family homes, so first repaints and colour changes are common. We plan the prep around the surface in front of us.
East of Calgary the land is open and flat, so wind and strong sun reach homes with little shelter. Lakeside air can add moisture, and winter freeze-thaw works on wood and paint. Decks, railings, fences and exterior trim wear first, and south and west faces fade fastest. Prep is the answer here: cleaning, sanding, patching and sealing before any coat goes on. Send us a photo of what is weathering and we will tell you what we think. If it needs a different approach than you expected, we will say so plainly.
Expect deck and railing staining to be near the top of the list, along with exterior painting, doors and garage doors, and full interior repaints. Ceilings and feature walls round it out. We also paint commercial spaces. Anything else paint-related, ask us; we do not paint kitchen cabinets. We mask windows, doors and eaves, prep before we spray, and clean up when we finish. Estimates are free and start from a photo, so tell us what you have in mind.
Chestermere is about 20 km east of downtown Calgary, roughly 25 minutes by Hwy 1A or 17 Ave SE. It is the closest of the surrounding towns we serve.
