Closer in, the northwest has mature bungalows and split-levels that have been repainted before. Older paint, tired trim and settled walls mean prep matters more. Further out, out toward the foothills edge, there are newer two-storey homes with larger exteriors and big south and west faces. Different houses call for different prep. Send us a photo and we will tell you how we would handle yours.
Many northwest homes sit on rises, with open exposure to wind, hail and strong sun. West and south walls fade first. Decks facing the sun dry out and weather fast. That is where staining and exterior repainting earn their keep. We look at which sides of your house take the worst of it and prep accordingly, with windows, doors and eaves masked before any paint goes on.
You do not need to book a visit to find out what a job involves. Send a photo of the room, the siding or the deck, and we will reply with questions and a clear free estimate. Prefer to talk? Call (403) 973-7929. We also paint commercial spaces, so if you run a business in the northwest, send photos of that too.
